Description	:	JONESVILLE - In celebration of the life of our beloved father, son, brother and friend, Ronald Steven Shaw, 54, of Vestal Road passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at his home. He was born Jan. 18, 1953, in Yadkin County to Henry Glade and Mary E. Shaw. Steve was an employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., with 35 years of service, and an avid supporter of Victoria, his daughter, as she trained and showed horses on the Arabian Horse Circuit. Read More	JONESVILLE - In celebration of the life of our beloved father, son, brother and friend, Ronald Steven Shaw, 54, of Vestal Road passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at his home. He was born Jan. 18, 1953, in Yadkin County to Henry Glade and Mary E. Shaw. Steve was an employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., with 35 years of service, and an avid supporter of Victoria, his daughter, as she trained and showed horses on the Arabian Horse Circuit. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Glade Shaw, in 1989. Surviving are his daughter, Victoria Ann Shaw, and her mother, Ginny Stammetti of Boonville; his mother, Mary Evans Shaw of Jonesville; a brother, David (Debbie) Shaw of Jonesville; a sister, Debbie (Joe) Cearley of Jonesville; nephews, Dickie and Will Shaw; niece, Melody Barker; and his devoted furry friend and companion, Jill. His funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul Stewart and the Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Mountain Valley Hospice or to Shady Grove Baptist Church. The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care, thoughts and prayers of Mountain Valley Hospice, including Lynn, Cindy, Pat, Bobbie, Shirley and Beverly, and to many others who were so kind during his lengthy illness.
