This leaves all up but not well. Well, Lonnie ever since the first of March Rosie has gragled gone down. First one thing and another give her trouble all the way long of the deses I sent you. She bore her suffering patenly. She was able to help her self up till the last month. Sense then she has ben confined to her bed all the time and your ma has stade with her pretty well all the time since then, and she has suffered a grate deal ever since that time she never give up till 2 weeks ago that she would not get well. She told Abner for him not brake up house keeping. She told them what song she wanted them to sang at the graveyard. She said she wasen't afraid to die but hated to leave Abner and the children. She lived on till 6 o'clock the 3 of August, she node ever thing up till the last moment. She died as easy as any person I ever saw. I was with her in her last strugles. She was buried the 4. their was a large crowd at her buring. There was service helt by one of the preachers and he give a nice little talk. The song was we will never say good by in heaven. Willie and Dora came home with us for the buring. We will not wrigh more at the present. We will expect a prompt reply from this letter. From J. C.
