Description	:	Rosa was the daughter John C. Menius Jr. and wife, Aley Angeline Ketchie Menius. She was named for her paternal grandmother, Rosanna Hartman Menius. After Rosa's father died in the CSA Army during the Civil War, her mother married Alfred Wiley Kluttz in 1866 and they had 9 children together. Rosa and her brother, Nicholas White Menius, were raised in the household with their 9 half-siblings. After Rosa's father died in the CSA Army during the Civil War, her mother married Alfred Wiley Kluttz in 1866 and they had 9 children together. Rosa and her brother, Nicholas White Menius, were raised in the household with their 9 half-siblings. Their ties remained strong throughout their lives and they both owned land near their half-brother, Milo A. Kluttz. Rosa was widowed twice - first in 1930 and again in 1934. When her second husband died in 1934, Rosa's brother, N. White Menius, was also in poor health and he died in April 1935. At that point, Rosa made her home with the family of her half-brother, Milo A. Kluttz, who died in June 1955. At the time of her death six months later in January 1956, she was living with the family of Milo's son, Gaither B. Kluttz Sr., on Mount Hope Church Road in Faith NC. Rosa's first husband was John A. Eagle and they married in Rowan Co NC on 3 Dec 1914. They had no children together. He was a widower whose wife had died in 1912 and he is buried with his first wife at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Rowan County NC. Memorial # 88196718. He died in 1930. Rosa's second husband was Henderson Alexander Stirewalt, son of Caleb & Michel Newman Stirewalt, and they married in Rowan Co NC on 19 Dec 1930. They had no children together. He was also a widower and his wife had died in 1929. He and his first wife are buried together at Mount Hope United Christ of Christ Cemetery in Rowan County NC. He was born Dec 26 1857 and died in 1934 both in Rowan County NC. Memorial is # 71063453.
