| Description | : | From Ames Daily Tribune August 19, 1971 ROSA M. PECK Mrs. Rosa M. Peck, 90, was born in Washington County, Oct. 11, 1880, the daughter of John and Catherine Bitting. She died Aug. 11, 1971 ast the Story County Hospital in Nevada. After her parents' death in the early 1900's she made her home with an uncle, Jim Thomas. After she and Earl Peck were married Nov. 8, 1905, they moved to a farm in South Dakota, returning to Story County in 1921.
