Deaths Mrs. Rosa Snider, resident of Cincinnati, died at 9 p.m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gladys Bennett, at Packwood, Iowa. Rosa Snider Taken by Death Mrs. Rosa Snider, well known resident of Cincinnati, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gladys Bennett at Packwood, Iowa at 9 a.m. Tuesday. The body is being returned to this city to the Miller funeral home for funeral services to be announced later. Mrs. Snider was 76 years of age. She had gone three weeks ago to visit with her daughter and suffered a stroke shortly after her arrival. She suffered two subsequent strokes before her death. She was preceded in death by her husband H. O. Snider six years ago. A daughter Edith Phillips, of Newton, Kansas, died last September. Surviving children are: Clarence of Oakland, California, John of Coffeyville, Kansas, Mrs. Gladys Bennett, Gilbert of Corydon, Ernest of Centerville, Mrs. Cecil (Cecile) Draper of Boulder, Colo., and Mrs. Edna Gray of Oklahoma City. There are 21 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The Rev. Eugene Gott will officiate, and burial will be in the Pleasant Hill cemetery. The body will remain at the Miller Funeral Home until time for services. She was united in marriage to Harry O. Snider at Olethe (Olathe), Kansas on September 17, 1893. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. O. Snider on February 15, 1945, also one daughter, Mrs. Edith Phillips of Newton, Kansas on September 18, 1949. She leaves to mourn her passing seven children, Clarence of Oakland, California, John of Coffeyville, Kansas, Mrs. Roscoe Bennett of Packwood, Iowa, Gilbert of Corydon, Ernest of Centerville, Mrs. Charles Draper of Boulder, Colorado, Mrs. John Gray of Oklahoma City, Okla. One sister, Mrs. Lizzie Pauless of Hot Springs, South Dakota, 22 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, also many friends. She was a member of the Franklin Baptist Church near Cincinnati and a member of the W.R.C. Lodge.
