Rosalia A., daughter of Louis and Laura (Schnuelle) Ihde was born April 30, 1931 on her parents farm in Bloomfield Township in Winneshiek County, Iowa. Rosalia attended the rural Bloomfield Township schools in Winneshiek County. On August 18, 1957 she was united in marriage to Virgil Winters at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Postville, Iowa. Virgil died November 1, 1977. Rosalia was then married to Orville Ehde on May 2, 1981 also at St. Paul's Church. She was a member of the ladies circle currently at St. John's Lutheran Church but before at St. Paul's. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, and houseplants, sewing, crocheting, and other crafts. She also helped in all aspects of the family farm. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and spent considerable time caring for her parents in their later years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Virgil Winters, and 2 brothers, Larry Ihde and Lorenz Ihde. Rosalia is survived by her husband Orville Ehde; 1 son, Roger (Chris) Winters of Monona, Iowa; 2 grandchildren, Matthew Winters and Jeremy Winters; 1 sister, Helen (Duane) Ruroden of Monona, Iowa; and 1 brother Leslie (Laura) Ihde of Monona, Iowa. She m1. Virgil C. Winters on 18 Aug 1957 in Postville. They were the parents of Roger. She m2. Orville R. Ehde on 02 May 1981 at Postville. She was a farm wife.
