Read More	Wenatchee World - Friday, October 31, 2008 Rosalie Rosie Glann, 83, of East Wenatchee, WA, passed away peacefully at Highline Convalescent Center on Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Rosie was born February 3, 1925, to Hjalmer and Thusie (Wood) Gustafson in Portal, ND and was the sixth of nine children. At the age of 17, she moved from North Dakota to Washington with her family. One of her life-long enjoyments was dancing. It was at a dance at the Eagles Lodge, where she reconnected with her future husband, Robert Ray Glann. As he was leaving, they met on the stairs, went back and danced the night away theyve been together ever since. She married Ray on April 27, 1946, in Coeur dAlene, ID. They had three children, Terry Rae, Bob and Dianna. Another enjoyment was her family. As one of nine children, the family was very close. There were many memorable times spent at Lake Chelan, at her parents ranch in Malaga and many, many holiday get-togethers. Rosie was a highly dedicated housewife and grandmother of three. Rosie is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Ray; her son, Robert Bob Glann, Jr. and his wife, Sandy of Renton, WA; her daughter, Dianna Wooten and her husband, Lonnie of East Wenatchee; her grandchildren, Amber Dee Rosalie Glann (Rosies namesake) of Wenatchee, Heath Douglas Wooten and Nathan Daniel Wooten, both of East Wenatchee; her sister, Beverly Bev Deskin and her husband, Jim of East Wenatchee; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; one daughter, Terry Rae Glann; and seven brothers. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at Telfords Chapel of the Valley. Visitation will be Friday, October 31, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those who wish, may make memorial donations to the National Stroke Foundation or American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are by Telfords Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
