Description	:	Rosalynde (Rose) H. Bolstad, age 91 of Edinburg, ND passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2003, at the Good Samaritan Center of Park River, ND. Rose Bolstad, daughter of Hosianna and Johann Hall, was born September 12, 1912, and brought up on the Hall farm in Gardar Township, Pembina County. She graduated from Milton High School, Milton, ND, after which she attended beautician school and opened a "beauty" shop in Edinburg. Bolstad, age 91 of Edinburg, ND passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2003, at the Good Samaritan Center of Park River, ND. Rose Bolstad, daughter of Hosianna and Johann Hall, was born September 12, 1912, and brought up on the Hall farm in Gardar Township, Pembina County. She graduated from Milton High School, Milton, ND, after which she attended beautician school and opened a "beauty" shop in Edinburg. In 1940 she married Oliver Bolstad and had two sons, Montelle and Orin, before the family moved to Lynden, WA, in 1949. They farmed seed potatoes near Lynden for seven years before moving to Bakersfield, CA, where she lived for 40 years (1954-1994). During this period, she was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and an avid gardener. In 1994, five years after Oliver's death, she returned to Pembina County, living in Cavalier, ND and thereafter at Borg Home in Mountain, ND and at the Good Samaritan Center in Park River, ND. She is survived by her siblings: Mae Meier, Pauline Page, John Hall and Lillian Myrdal. Montelle's family includes wife, Janis; daughter, Erika (Paul) Bedish; and son, Joel. Orin's family includes wife, Catherine; son, Justin; and daughter, Leah. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oliver; sisters: Emma and Caroline; brothers: Joe Hall, Bill Hall, Edward Hall, and Bjorn Hall. Graveside services: Friday, November 14, 2003, at the Gardar Cemetery, rural Gardar, ND. Memorial service will follow at Trinity Lutheran Church in Edinburg, ND.
