Description	:	Mrs. Rose McCormack, widow of D. M. McCormack, an aged resident of Clemons, died Saturday at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, of infirmities of old age, following a long illness. For the past three years Mrs. MeCormack's health had gradually failed, but it was not until a few weeks ago that her condition became serious. For the past three years Mrs. MeCormack's health had gradually failed, but it was not until a few weeks ago that her condition became serious. Mrs. McCormack was born Rose Cooper, at Zenith, Ind., in 1837. She was married to D. M. McCormack Sept. 12, 1861. Nine years ago Mr. and Mrs. McCormack celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. McCormack came to Marshall county in 1867, locating at Clemons. Mrs. McCormack is survived by six children, Mrs. J. S. Mooney, Wenatchee, Wash.: W. B. McCormack, Plainesville, Mo.; Charles McCormack, Malcom; A. D. McCormack, Garden City, Minn.; 0. N. McCormack, Janesville, Minn., and J. S. McCormack, city. Twenty-three grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive. Two grandnephews, A. P. and H. M. Cooper, reside in this city. Mrs, McCormack was a member of the Christian church at Clemons, where she had a large circle of friends and acquaintances. O. N. McCormack brought the body to this city from Iowa City this afternoon. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon from the J. S. McCormack home, 304 North Seventh street, in charge of Rev.W. Clements.
