A Scriptural Wake will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. She was born March 20, 1891, in Parkersburg, the daughter of Richard P. and Mary E. (Quinn) Geary. She attended school in Dougherty. She married William J. Romefanger on June 10, 1920, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Mason City. she worked at the Merkels and Company, Mason City, for approximately 10 years. She had lived in Mason City since 1940. Her husband died in 1962. She had resided at the Rockwell Community Nursing Home since 1978. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Chruch. Survivors include 10 nieces, including Jeanne Argos, Cerro Gordo County Recorder, Mason City, and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and three brothers.
