She was born May 29, 1932 in Beatrice, NE to George Lawrence Endelman and Lucille Blanch (Martin) Endelman. Rose grew up in Beatrice, NE. She was employed at Lentz Motors in Beatrice for over 15 years. Rose moved to Loveland in 1971. She worked for the Loveland Police Department as a dispatcher and receptionist from 1972-2006. Rose was the dispatcher on duty during the 1976 Big Thompson flood. In 1994 she received the City of Loveland Employee of the Year Award. Rose’s hobbies included painting, reading, hiking and gardening. After retiring from the Loveland Police Department, Rose was an active member of the Loveland Police Department Retirement Association. She volunteered for the Loveland Valentine Re-Mailing Program and wrote a verse that was published in one of the valentine cards. Rose also enjoyed her cats, birdwatching and travelling with her daughter. Rose is survived by a daughter, and sister [survivor's names omitted]. Rose was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will be held at Viegut Funeral Home on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with a reception following at the Viegut Reception Center. Inurnment will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Loveland Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Larimer County Humane Society or Larimer County Meals-on-Wheels c/o Viegut Funeral Home.--Viegut Funeral Home
