Description	:	On Sunday, June 16, 2013, Rose Kautz joined her husband Henry in God's eternal home. Rose was born on April 17, 1919, one of 14 children, to Peter and Christina (Hust) Wagenman. She married Henry Kautz Jr. on Dec. 9, 1937. Rose worked the family farm side by side with Henry, driving tractors, hauling beets, milking 25 head of milk cows, and many other numerous chores. Read More	On Sunday, June 16, 2013, Rose Kautz joined her husband Henry in God's eternal home. Rose was born on April 17, 1919, one of 14 children, to Peter and Christina (Hust) Wagenman. She married Henry Kautz Jr. on Dec. 9, 1937. Rose worked the family farm side by side with Henry, driving tractors, hauling beets, milking 25 head of milk cows, and many other numerous chores. In this time they had three children, Gene, Ron, and Taby. In 1967 Henry retired and they moved to Billings with their daughter Taby. At that time Rose went to work at St. Vincent Hospital as a nurse's aide until Henry became ill in 1979. She took care of him until his passing on July 2, 1990. Rose loved to bake angel food cakes, homemade noodles, pies and other German delights which she shared with everyone. She treasured her family and friends and was always there with a kind word and support to whoever needed it. She would call to make sure her friends were doing well and everyone knew they were welcome in her life and her home. Rose is preceded in death by her parents, husband, her son Ron, nine brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her sister Lorraine Wagenman, son Gene, daughter Taby, three grandchildren, Steven, Janet, and Kayla, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. We would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Billings Clinic for the loving care that you gave her in the month that she was there. In her 94 years, she touched the lives of hundreds of people, with her wit, wisdom, caring and love. We as her family hope that you who knew her feel as blessed as we do to have had her in our lives. We love you Mom, Sister, Grandma, and Aunt. We miss you . . . until we meet again. Visitations will begin Saturday at Smith Downtown Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 24, at Pilgrim Congregational Church with interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
