Rhomberg officiated the service with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Volga. Pallbearers were Karolyn Kenn, James Kenn, John Kenn, Janet Huft, Kevin Manning, Maria Manning, Tina Hartley, Jeffery Jurgens, Rebecca Roberts, and Susan Lee. Rosella Little Manning of Riverside, Calif., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 1994, in Riverside after a brief illness. Survivors include two daughters, Dorelaine Kenn of Riverside, Calif., Mary Jurgens and her husband LaVern of Vista, Calif.; three sons, John of Truth or Consequences, N. Mex., Richard and his wife Judith of Cedar Rapids, Daniel and his wife Terry of Andalusia, Ill.; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Rosella was the last surviving child of the eight children of the James and Mary Little family of Volga, Iowa. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Willard Kenn; and two grandchildren, Leon and Kenneth Jurgens. Born December 29, 1905, in Volga, she married Delbert Manning June 16, 1930, in Chicago. He died in 1990. Rosella attended nursing school in Chicago. She operated nursing homes in Cedar Rapids from the mid-50's to the mid-70's. While in Cedar Rapids she was a member of St. Wenceslaus Church. She returned to Chicago where she was a Home Health Care Provider until she retired. For 19 years she arranged a weekly summer vacation at Freddie's Beach in Delhi, Iowa, where all the family would re-unite. In 1980 she gave the entire family a vacation gift to Hawaii, attended by 31 descendants.
