Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Grimes, of which she was a member. Interment will follow at Sunny Hill Cemetery in Grimes. Rosemarie was born the daughter of Otto Frederick and Amma Laura (Stephenson) Greif on March 28, 1928 near Dallas Center, Iowa, and had lived there all of her life.On June 17, 1950, Rosemarie married Robert William Roth at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. To this union, two sons and two daughters were born. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Robert W. Roth of Dallas Center; one son, Jess (Barb) Roth of Falls Church, VA; two daughters, Ami (George) Spevacek of Inver Grove Heights, MN and Ava (John Collins) Roth-Collins of Ankeny; eight grandchildren, Tyler Roth, Leah Roth, Ava Roth, Jessica (Dan) Sullivan, Jeff Spevacek, Ashly Spevacek, Rosemarie Collins and Tess Collins; one sister, Maxine Rittenhouse of McHenry, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Rosemarie was preceded into eternal life by her parents; one son, Jeffrey Robert Roth; and two brothers, Junie Greif and Clifford Greif. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., on Wednesday, July 15, at Iles Funeral Homes - Brandt Chapel in Dallas Center.Memorial contributions may be made to the Rosemarie Roth Memorial Fund.
