Description	:	MUSCATINE, Iowa - Rosemary Agnes Ash, 74, of Muscatine, died Wednesday morning, April 19, 2006, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2006, at St. Mary Church, 417 Green Street. The Reverend Troy Richmond of the Ss. Mary and Mathias Parish will officiate. Casket bearers will be her grandsons. Russell Brossart, Jody Brossart, Branden Brossart, Matthew Ash, Devin Barclay, Joseph Barclay, Nahum Ash, Noah Ash, Tony Leza and Carlos Leza. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2006, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home with a 7 p.m. Rosary Prayer Service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation. Rosemary was born on December 22, 1931, in Muscatine, the daughter of Edward George Lewis and Agnes Josephine Kollman Hoffman. She married Donald William Ash on November 9, 1952, at the St. Mary Church in Muscatine. She worked all of her life as a seamstress. She owned and operated Rosemary's Alterations for almost 50 years. She was a member of St. Mary Church and the Women of the Moose. Rosemary enjoyed bingo, cards, gardening, sewing and bowling. She loved spending time with her family. Survivors include two sons, Donald 'Bud' Ash Jr. and wife, Crystal, of Muscatine, and James Michael Ash and wife, Kristina, of Muscatine; five daughters, Cynthia Brossart and husband, Larry, of Muscatine; Katherine Ash of Fairbury, Nebraska, Linda Barclay and husband, Douglas of Muscatine, Angela Ewers and husband, Gerald, of Muscatine, and Brenda Leza and husband, Antonio, of Muscatine; 15 grandchildren, Russell, Jody and Branden Brossart, Matthew Ash, Devin and Joseph Barclay, Nahum, Noah, and Ashly Ash, Marissa Ewers, and Julia, Sylvia, Tony, Carlos, and Karita Leza; eight great-grandchildren, Jayde and Blake Brossart, Braeden, Gracie, and Gunner Brossart, Kayla Rowe, Savanna Hahn, and Jonathon Barclay; two brothers, Robert E. Hoffman and wife, Patricia, of Muscatine, and Richard J. Hoffman and wife, Arlene, of Clear Lake; and one sister, Carolyn Deegan and husband, Jack, of Elkgrove Village, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1996, one son, Harold Edward Ash in 1988; and two brothers, Bernard and Edward Hoffman.
