She was employed with Whitney Bank and Trust. On December 27, 1945, she was united in marriage to Gene C. Mallette. Following marriage they lived in Peoria, Illinois, while Gene attended Bradley University. She was employed with the First National Bank. They returned to Atlantic in 1947.
