Description	:	Rosemary Dolly Smith, age 89, went to be with her savior on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Berkeley Springs Center LLC in Berkeley Springs. Born September 2, 1929 at the home of her uncle on Harding Ave. in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Brady Hebert and Alberta M. Slider Dolly. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and while in Montana she attended Phillipsburg Community Church. Read More	Rosemary Dolly Smith, age 89, went to be with her savior on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Berkeley Springs Center LLC in Berkeley Springs. Born September 2, 1929 at the home of her uncle on Harding Ave. in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Brady Hebert and Alberta M. Slider Dolly. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and while in Montana she attended Phillipsburg Community Church. Rosemary graduated 1951 from Frostburg State Teachers College with a degree in Math education. She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #77 in Berkeley Springs. Rosemary began her teaching career at Flintstone School. She married Donald Edward Smith on October 10, 1957 in Winchester, VA, where they resided in Berkeley Springs, and she continued her teaching career in Math at Hancock High School until her retirement. Upon her retirement, Rosemary and Donald spent much of their time on a ranch owned by Larry & Barbara Clark on Rock Creek in Philipsburg, MT. Rosemary is survived by her niece, Kitty Shrader and her husband Doyle, nephews, Russell Crowe, Donald Crowe and his wife Laura all of Tennessee, Wade Morral and his wife Cindy, Mark Morral and his wife Lori all of Cumberland, MD. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Donald Edward Smith on February 1, 2019, Wade Morral, a relative who resided with Rosemary and her parents on the farm in Flintstone during her teen years. Funeral services will be conducted at 11;00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, WV, with Rev. Gary Kerns, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Rocky Gap Veteran Cemetery in Flintstone, MD.
