Description	:	Rosemary (Urton) Millsap, age 87, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kan. She was born on May 7, 1928 in Syracuse, Kan., the daughter of Arthur Urton and Rosebud (Woelfel) Urton. Rosemary was a lifelong resident of Syracuse and attended Syracuse High School and graduated in 1946. Read More	Rosemary (Urton) Millsap, age 87, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kan. She was born on May 7, 1928 in Syracuse, Kan., the daughter of Arthur Urton and Rosebud (Woelfel) Urton. Rosemary was a lifelong resident of Syracuse and attended Syracuse High School and graduated in 1946. On June 8, 1946, she married Duane Clifford Millsap in Syracuse and they made their home on the farm west of Syracuse. To this union two children were born Jan, and Cal. Rosemary worked along side Duane while they were farming and seeing to every need for her family as well. During the ‘60s, Duane and Rosemary run a Dairy farm milking 65 cows religiously every morning and every night. Their biggest accomplishment while they farmed was their Alfalfa and milo crops every year. They sold the farm in 1998, and moved to Syracuse where they enjoyed living in town. Rosemary loved to entertain at her home during the holidays and for special accessions. She was known to many people how great a cook she was and was really known for the pies that she made, everyone would say they are the best. She was really particular about her yard, there was a place for everything, and she just loved taking care her flowers. She was a great seamstress where she would make porcelain dolls and then make the clothes to dress them, which took many hours of time for her. In April of 2014, she moved to the Seasons Of Life Living Center due to her health and resided there until her passing. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, ceramics, porcelain dolls, and just loved doing yard work, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Rosebud; her spouse, Duane Millsap; and a brother, Raymond Urton. She is survived by one son, Cal (& wife Colleen) Millsap of Liberal, Kan.; one daughter, Jan Muynon of Terminal Island, Calif.; three grandchildren, Jeff (& wife Erin) Burch of Olathe, Kan., Tyconda Millsap of Canyon, Texas, and Callie Millsap of Liberal. Graveside Services were held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. (MDT) at the Syracuse Cemetery in Syracuse.
