Rosena Helen Laub was born November 14, 1862, on a farm in Buchanan Township, Page County, Iowa. She was the second child in the family of thirteen children born to Sarah Jane and Henry Laub. In January 1880, she was married to James Henry Carr. A short time after their marriage, she, with her husband, united with the Church of Christ in Siam, and she remained a faithful, devoted Christian wife and mother. Six children came to bless this home. They are Charley of Lodge Grass, Mont; Cora, deceased; Clarence of Braddyville; Claude, deceased; Clella Gibson of Buffalo, Wyo; Cuma Rosa of Princeton, Idaho. Mr. Carr died when he was only 37 years old. On July 8, 1904, she was married to John Davison at Garfield, Wash. To this union one son was born, Doris, whose home is in Elberton, Washington. Mr. Davison died about 29 years ago. Two sisters, three brothers, and one great-granddaughter have preceded her in death. Besides the children Mrs. Davison is survived by four sisters, three brothers, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. All five of her children were present for the last rites. Also I. N.
