Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Mrs. Jean Becker Rosetta Jean Becker, the daughter of Frank and Mildred Davenport Benke was born at Fairview, Oklahoma on August 3, 1930. She died unexpectedly at Henderson, Nebraska on March 10, 1978 at the age of 47 years, 7 months and 7 days. In 1931 the family moved to Aurora and she has since resided in this vicinity most of the time. She attended the Aurora Public Schools where she graduated from high school with the class of 1948. On November 22, 1953 she was united in marriage to Robert Becker at Aurora. Following his discharge from the Armed Services two years later they returned to Hamilton County where they farmed in the vicinity of Phillips until when they moved into Phillips in 1970. Jean was a member of the Monroe Evangelical Free Church near Phillips and had been active in church affairs and she and her husband were in charge of the Youth Group for several years. Her mother had preceded her in death. Her survivors include her husband; two sons, Ronald and Randall and one daughter Janelle all of Phillips; her father, Frank Benke of Aurora; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Bieck of Trumbull, Nebraska and Mrs. Carol Cudacack of Grand Island; her maternal grandmother and other relatives and close friends.
