Read More	Mrs. Rosie Idella Demone 1966 Bridgewater Bulletin Following a lengthy illness, Mrs. Rosie Demone, Hemford, passed away on Saturday morning, December 3rd, at the home of Harold Barkhouse, Nineveh, where she had been living for ther past twenty months. Rosie Idella (Kelley) Demone was born in Berlin, New Hampshire on December 20th, 1886, the daughter of Peter and Sarah (Goodno) Kelly. She was one of a family of eleven children. She was married to the late Alexander Demone of Hemford, in New Hampshire and moved to Hemford in 1911 where she has since resided with the exception of the past twenty months. She is survived by a daughter, Lois (Mrs. Lauren Veinot), Hemford; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A sister, Freda (Mrs. Gene NaDean), Lyndon, Vermont, also survives. She was predeceased by her husband in 1950; an infant daughter and nine brothers and sisters. The funeral service was held from the Union Church, Hemford, on Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. James Crooks, pastor of the United Church. Rev. Crooks based his remarks to the sorrowing relatives and friends on the text taken from St. John 14, verses 1 and 2. Hymns sung by the choir were "Unto The Hills" and "O, For a Faith." Burial was in Hemford Cemetery by the side of her late husband and the pall bearers were Roydon Veinot, Herman Veinot, Ross Veinot, and Ernest Colp. The flowers were a token of the love and respect felt for the late Mrs. Demone. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
