Description	:	Ross or Rossie, as the family called him, served aboard the ship Susquehanna as a fireman in World War I with his brother Jessie. The ship transported soldiers between Virginia and France. Rossie made 8 trips back and forth. Jessie made nine. Rossie was released from service early as he'd caught the flu.
