Thursday in St. Elizabeth hospital where he had been a patient 10 days. He had been in failing health several months. Surviving with the widow are a son, John Ros Hoover Washington, D. C. and a daughter, Mrs. Howard Newman, Tulsa, Okla., both born during an earlier marriage, and a brother, Emery of Lafayette.
