Louise was born July 17, 1918 at her parent's home in Colo, Iowa, the daughter of William and Lila (Baker) Schnur. Louise graduated from Colo High School in 1935 and then earned her teaching certificate from Westmar College. She was united in marriage to Floyd C. Wycoff March 14, 1952 in Colo, Iowa. Louise was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church of Nevada, the S.E.N.A. Club, and the Presbyterian Quilting Ladies. Louise enjoyed quilting, gardening, her grandchildren and her family. She is survived by a daughter: Marlys Swanson of Nevada; 2 sons and daughters-in law: Dean and Linda Wycoff of Chariton, Carl and Jill Wycoff of Nevada; 10 grandchildren: Bradley Wycoff, Jeffrey Wycoff, Matthew (Sherry) Wycoff, Nicolas (Jessica) Wycoff, Jennifer (Mike) Sibley, Chris Folkmann, Makenzie (Rob) Patterson, Joshua Wycoff, Caleb Swanson and Hannah Swanson; 5 great-grandchildren: Eliza, Isabella and Gwendolyn Sibley, Chloe and Gretchen Patterson; 2 brothers: Raymond Schnur of Colo, Robert Schnur of Faribault, MN; and a sister: Elsie Ryan of Cresco. Louise was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Floyd.
