Description	:	Mrs. D. A. Anderson Passes Mrs. David A. Anderson passed away in a Des Moines hospital Tuesday morning, where she had been receiving treatment for a long time. Mrs. Anderson had apparently entirely recovered from former disabilities and was at her home for several months. Anderson passed away in a Des Moines hospital Tuesday morning, where she had been receiving treatment for a long time. Mrs. Anderson had apparently entirely recovered from former disabilities and was at her home for several months. Last May she was found to be suffering with a severe case of high blood pressure and went back to the hospital where she has been since. She suffered a paralytic stroke last week, and her husband was called from Aberdeen, S. D. When he arrived she was in a condition of coma from which she did not recover. Mrs. Anderson who was Miss Roxanna Gaylord before her marriage, was a resident of Lamoni for many years. She came here with her parents in 1894. During her life here she served as a member of both the grade and high school faculties. The body was brought to Lamoni Tuesday accompanied by her husband and her sister, Mrs. W. J. Mather, of Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at the White home this morning at 10:30 o'clock. ANDERSON A very impressive funeral service was held at the White home on Thursday afternoon, for Mrs. D. A. Anderson of Aberdeen, S. D., who died in a hospital in Des Moines. Elder W. E. Prall of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, preached the sermon. He read a number of appropriate passages of scripture, gave a short resume of the life of the deceased in Lamoni, and of his early associations with her as a teacher in the schools, closing by Reading "Beyond" by Ella Wheeler Wilcox. Dr. Seymour, vice-president of the State Teachers' College of Aberdeen, offered prayer, and Rev. D. L. Curtis, pastor of the Congregational Church of Aberdeen read a number of scriptural passages and also Tennyson's "Crossing the Bar." Music was furnished by Colin Ferrett, in a solo, " Jesus Savior, Pilot Me, " and a quartet composed of Mrs. John Muceus, Mrs. Arthur Deny, Wilbur Chandler, and Mr. Farrett, with Mrs. Farrett at the piano. A short service was also held at the graveside. The following out-of-town relatives and friends were in attendance: Dr. and Mrs. Seymour, Miss Emma Holman, private secretary to Mr. Anderson, president of the college, W. M. Oates, secretary-treasurer of the college board, LeRoy Crawford, registrar, N. H. Newalt, faculty member, Carl C. Hanson, president of the senior class, Rev. O.L. Curtis, all of Aberdeen, S.
