Read More	Mrs. Roy Brown, Liscomb, Dies LISCOMB — (Special ) Mrs. Roy (Roxie) Brown, 82, Liscomb who died Saturday morning at a Marshalltown hospital, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Liscomb Church of Christ with the Rev. Helmer Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the Liscomb Cemetery. Mrs. Brown was born June 23, 1892 in Marshall County, the daughter of Thomas and Maggie Eggleston Meyers. She was raised and educated in Liscomb and graduated from Liscomb High School in 1910. On Jan. 7, 1914 she was married to Roy Brown in Grundy County. The couple farmed in the Grundy County for 26 years then moved to Liscomb in 1937 and have lived there since. She was employed by the Iowa Soldier's Home for four years. Survivors include her husband ; four daughters, Mrs. Everette (Doris) Clingerman, Hubbard; Mrs. Frances McCoy. Union; Mrs. Harold (Betty) Frohwein, Beaman, and Mrs. Howard (Phyllis Cuffel, Conrad; eight grand-children and six great grandchildren; two brothers, Jess Meyers, Liscomb, and Glen Meyers, East Orleans, Mass. ; one sister, Mrs. Walter (Alice) Ost, Parkers Prairie, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and one sister.
