Description	:	SEARSPORT – Roy Clayton Dakin Jr., 61, died unexpectedly Nov. 12, 2011. He was born June 2, 1950, in Searsport, son of Roy Clayton Dakin Sr. and Gertrude Annie Dakin. He graduated from Searsport High School, class of 1968. He was the owner of M & R Builders and Sons, and Dakin's Miniatures as well as many other businesses throughout the years. He was born June 2, 1950, in Searsport, son of Roy Clayton Dakin Sr. and Gertrude Annie Dakin. He graduated from Searsport High School, class of 1968. He was the owner of M & R Builders and Sons, and Dakin's Miniatures as well as many other businesses throughout the years. He is survived by his fiancee, Kim Ashey; two sons, Scott Dakin and special friend, Jenifer, and Nick Dakin and his wife, Jami; one beloved grandson, Brayden Dakin; and Kim's sons, Caleb and Casey Ashey; two brothers, George Pattershall and his wife, Nancy, and John Dakin; one sister, Carol Anderson; several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many longtime friends, including Loren Bagley, and Judy and Larry Saglio. He was predeceased by friend, Toby Ward.
