Description	:	Dawson County Pioneer, Saturday, January 13, 1906: Death of Roy Kirkpatrick. Roy Kirkpatrick, aged 28 years, died last Wednesday at the M. E. Hospital in Omaha. The deceased was one of Lexington's draymen and had long been a resident of the city. About six weeks ago he was prostrated with an attack of appendicitis, and his case not progressing favorably. Read More	Dawson County Pioneer, Saturday, January 13, 1906: Death of Roy Kirkpatrick. Roy Kirkpatrick, aged 28 years, died last Wednesday at the M. E. Hospital in Omaha. The deceased was one of Lexington's draymen and had long been a resident of the city. About six weeks ago he was prostrated with an attack of appendicitis, and his case not progressing favorably. He was taken to the M. E. Hospital, Omaha, on January 3, and the next day Dr. Jonas performed a surgical operation and removed the appendix. The patient lived until last Wednesday. The remains were brought to Lexington Wednesday night and the funeral held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, the services being held at the house on South Lexington by Rev. Geo. F. Williams. The remains were interred at Evergreen. The deceased leaves a wife and one child. He was a member of the Workmen ledge and insured for $2,000. He was also a member of the Lexington Fire Department.
