Parents: Guy W. Cope and Alvie (Hart) Cope. Roy served in the U.S. Army Jan. of 1954 to 1956. He married Sept. 21, 1957 St. Clara's Catholic Church in Peru, Ne. to Judith Tynon. they had 3 children. They lived in Lincoln until 1978 when they returned to Peru, NE. and farmed for 30 years before retiring in 2005. He was preceded in death by parents and brother Carl.
