He was a member of Sale Creek United Methodist Church and the Hixson Masonic Lodge #727 F&AM. Mr. Hale was a United States Army Veteran, he enjoyed fishing, playing music and attending all his grandchildren's events. He dearly loved his grandchildren. He was a member of Sale Creek United Methodist Church and the Hixson Masonic Lodge #727 F&AM. Mr. Hale was a United States Army Veteran, he enjoyed fishing, playing music and attending all his grandchildren's events. He dearly loved his grandchildren. He was also the former owner/operator of Hale's Barber Shop in Hixson. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Ann Hale Marler, his son-in-law, Thomas Andrew Marler, his parents and several brothers and sisters. Glenn is survived by his wife of sixty eight years, Carlos J. Hale; sons, Wade Hale, Travis (Beverly) Hale; grandchildren, Andrea (Ted) Pender, Adam (Erin) Marler, Jessica (Thomas) Good, Casey Hale, Breann Hale, Brooke Hale and Brandon Hale; great-grandchildren, Clay & Carley Pender, William & Jacob Marler and Jacob, Gracie & Eliza Stiles. Visitation is 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Services will be 1:00 P.M Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. David Anderson and Rev. Jim Purser officiating. Burial will follow in Pikeville Cemetery. Arrangements are by Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
