He was predeceased by his wife, one son, Keith and two brothers, Ronald and Wes. Roy was a Millwright and Mechanic by trade and had previously worked for St. George Pulp and Paper; Lake Utopia Pulp and Paper and Mount Pleasant Mines. He was a gifted auto mechanic, an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. Roy was a veteran of WW2, serving with the North Shore Regiment in Holland, France and Normandy. He was an active member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch No 40, St. George. Resting at the St. George United Baptist Church, 25 Main Street, St. George, NB from where the service will be held on Wednesday at 2 PM followed by interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the Church on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Legion Tribute will be conducted at the church Tuesday at 7:30 PM. In Roy's memory, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in the care of the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB.
