| Description | : | Buse was born April 20, 1908 to Fred and Emma (Hill) Buse at Albert City. He received his education in the Albert City Schools. On May 10, 1931 he married Opal Cooklin at Spencer. They farmed in the Laurens, Albert City and Marathon area for 47 years. They retired from farming in 1975 and continued living on the farm until the winter of 1986 when they moved to Albert City. As a young man, he went to aeronautic school in Chicago and earned his pilot's license. He spent many of his retirement hours building bird houses and wagon seats and showing them at the Albert City Thresherman's Collectors Show.
