A graveside service with full military honors will be held today (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. at Grassy Cove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Crossville. He was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, and a charter member of the Farragut Ruritan Club He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Velma Hutsell Simpson; his wife, Clara "Toppie" Simpson; stepmother, Clemmie Simpson; and brothers, Bill Simpson and Joseph Simpson.
