He was born May 13, 1949 in Horry County, a son of the late Johnnie Monroe and Kathleen Gasque Russ. He was also predeceased by four siblings, Harvey Russ, Barbara Ann Russ, Phyllis Russ and Sharon Russ. Roy was owner/operator of Roy’s Wrecker Service for twenty-nine years. Read More	Roy Monroe Russ, 69, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 13, 1949 in Horry County, a son of the late Johnnie Monroe and Kathleen Gasque Russ. He was also predeceased by four siblings, Harvey Russ, Barbara Ann Russ, Phyllis Russ and Sharon Russ. Roy was owner/operator of Roy’s Wrecker Service for twenty-nine years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. While living in Little Rock, SC he was Sunday School Superintendent at Melody Land Faith Chapel. Returning to Gresham, he was a member of Davidson Church of God. Roy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Mr. Russ is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Bonnie Dean Russ; three children, Roy Russ Jr. (Sherri), Cindy Russ (Jonas) and Shelia Russ (Renea); six siblings, William Russ (Patricia), Ronnie Russ (Sophia), Johnny Russ, Geraldine Gibson (Frances Gene), Lucille Smith and Joan Smith (Billy); six grandchildren, David Russ (Breanna), Alex Aguayo (Summer), Zack Aguayo, Karleigh Smith, Taylor Richardson and Shelby Walters (David); three great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss him. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Watson Funeral Services from 6 until 8pm. Funeral Services will be held 3pm Friday, June 1, 2018 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev.
