Description	:	Roy Thrasher Died in Wichita, Kan., Saturday Very unexpected was the death of this young man which occurred in a hospital at Wichita, Kansas, sometime Saturday night. Roy had been employed in the oil fields at Sallsyard, Kansas, by the oil companies whose offices are here in Francesville, and while there he took sick with the influenza and pneumonia. Read More	Roy Thrasher Died in Wichita, Kan., Saturday Very unexpected was the death of this young man which occurred in a hospital at Wichita, Kansas, sometime Saturday night. Roy had been employed in the oil fields at Sallsyard, Kansas, by the oil companies whose offices are here in Francesville, and while there he took sick with the influenza and pneumonia. His uncle Roy Myers, who was with him had him removed to the hospital where he passed away after a week's illness. The body was brought here Tuesday afternoon, accompanied by his uncle, and taken to his home where the funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, Rev. J. S. Van Orman, officiating. Burial was made in the cemetery east of town. Roy was 19 years of age. He was the son of Cyrus Thrasher, his mother having died several years ago. Roy was a boy loved for his kindly nature and admirable disposition. His character was notable for its generous impulses and considerate kindness. Courteous and genial to all, he leaves a noble monument of love in the hearts of those who knew him best. A father and aged grandfather Myers, a host of relatives and friends remain, who will sadly miss him.
