Read More	d. cert 66-0014117 Roy Willis, only son of Reuben and Mary (Schupbach) Webster was born on a farm southeast of Lancaster, October 21, 1895, and departed this life at his home in Glenwood, Mo., March 28, 1966, at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 7 days. At an early age he was converted and united with the Baptist Church in Downing, Mo. He held this faith during his entire life. On November 8, 1914, he was united in marriage with Helen M. Eickmeier and to this union two children were born, namely Richard Eugene and Nina Maxine. In their early married life, they lived on the farm on which he was born. In the fall of 1930, they left the farm and moved to Lancaster, where they lived until they moved to Glenwood in 1945 where they have made their home until his departure. He was engaged in farming and trucking and served as deputy sheriff of Schuyler County for four years. He drove the school bus for nearly fifteen years and also was a mail carrier from Lancaster to Coatsville for five years. Due to poor health, he retired five years ago. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and two half-sisters and one brother-in-law, Hal Farris. Those left to mourn his departure are his faithful wife, Helen, their two children, Richard Eugene and his wife, Mary Lou and their three children, Larry and his wife, Martha; Garry and his wife, Mary of Aurora, Ill.; Jean Ann and her husband Dennis Sidwell and their baby daughter Shelia Ann of Queen City; Nina Maxine and her husband Richard Kerby and their two children, Stanley and Suzann; two sisters, Cora Morgan of Downing and Lillie Farris of Fort Morgan, Colo.; one sister-in-law, Minnie Lamb of Lancaster, one brother-in-law, Garrett Morgan of Downing, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were conducted at the Norman Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, March 30, 1966, at 10:00 a.m. by Rev. Ben Bradbury. James Russell was soloist accompanied by Mrs. Edith Ballew as organist. Selections were "Whispering Hope" and "Precious Memories." Pallbearers were Ernest Welsh, Freddie Gordy, Dick Evans, Ernest Watkins, Clark Daniels and Gilbert McGoldrick. Flower bearers were Mildred Daniels, Virginia Welsh, Erma Scurlock and Pauline Carter. Interment was in the Arni Memorial Cemetery at Lancaster. Funeral arrangements were under the directions of Norman's.
