Description	:	Roy Woods, 88, of Creston died April 8, 2008, at Afton Care Center. Roy Woods, son of Viola Mae (Halstrom) and Bert Elias Woods, was born Sept. 1, 1919, in Woodburn. He attended rural Clarke County country schools and Osceola High School. On Oct., 5, 1946, Roy married Theola M. Todden in Troy, Kansas. They settled in Osceola, where Roy worked as assistant county engineer for Clarke County until 1957. They moved to New Hampton, where Roy worked for Chickasaw County in a similar capacity. Ross (wife Alice) Woods of Mesa, Ariz.; grandson Matt Woods; step-grandchildren, Meghan Ziebarth, Jesse Murry and Jody Bejarano and many nieces, nephews and friends. Roy was preceded in death by his parents; wife in 2001 and seven brothers and sisters.
