He was born Dec. 12, 1886, in Niota, Ill. He had been a resident of Keokuk for 65 years and had been an auto salesman for many years. He had served three terms as Lee county recorder. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church in Keokuk. He married Theresa A. Weisbruch in 1909 in Fort Madison. She preceded him in death. Survivors include three sons, the Rev. Kenneth C. He had been a resident of Keokuk for 65 years and had been an auto salesman for many years. He had served three terms as Lee county recorder. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church in Keokuk. He married Theresa A. Weisbruch in 1909 in Fort Madison. She preceded him in death. Survivors include three sons, the Rev. Kenneth C. Martin of Davenport. Richard F. Martin of Quincy and Warren W. Martin of Keokuk; 17 grandchildren and I9 great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter. a son and a grandchild. His parents were Charles and Wilhelmenia Dellenbaugh Martin. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St Mary's Catholic church in Keokuk wth the Rev. Kenneth Martin, the Rev. Mark J. Diamond and the Rev. David Goetsch officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart cemetery, Fort Madison. The rosary will be recited at 8 this evening at the Greaves Mortuary. A memorial has been established with Cardinal Stritch high school. Contributions may be made at the funeral home.
