She was born June 26, 1912 on the Lee Island in Big Timber to Andrew G. and Sarah Ellen (Barclay) Braughton. Ruby married Bertil Person December 23, 1938. Ruby was a ranch cook for many years. When Bert came home from serving in the Air Corps, they lived in Livingston. Later they moved to Roundup, where they lived for 40 years. While living in Roundup, Ruby cooked for restaurants. Read More	Ruby Alice Person, 93, of Big Timber passed away December 23, 2005 at Pioneer Medical Center. She was born June 26, 1912 on the Lee Island in Big Timber to Andrew G. and Sarah Ellen (Barclay) Braughton. Ruby married Bertil Person December 23, 1938. Ruby was a ranch cook for many years. When Bert came home from serving in the Air Corps, they lived in Livingston. Later they moved to Roundup, where they lived for 40 years. While living in Roundup, Ruby cooked for restaurants. As her eyesight was deteriorating and Bert had passed away, she decided to move to Big Timber in 1990. She went to live in the Pioneer Medical Center in 2000. Ruby was a member of the Big Timber Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bertil in 1987; sisters, Susie McComb, Alma Kenison and Katie Davis; and brother, Virgil Braughton. She is survived by her son, Richard (Sheila) Person of Bothel, WA; daughter, Robin Person of Billings; her sister, Edith Lomeland of Big Timber; and brother, Lloyd (Irene) Braughton of McLeod. She is also survived by four grandchildren, one great grandson, and cousins, Edna Ullman and Nell Wendland of Big Timber. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27 at Lowry Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Smith officiated. Graveside committal followed at Mountain View Cemetery.
