She was born April 20, 1946, in Oliver Springs and had been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of Cove Road Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. She was employed for 28 years at the Roane Hosiery Mill in Harriman. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Elyshia Hope Bridges; parents, George Burley Duncan and Christine Goodman Duncan; and brothers, Billy Duncan and Jimmy Clarence Duncan. Survivors include her children, Charles Edward Roberts and wife, Ladeana of Oliver Springs, Larry Dean Roberts and wife, Abbie of Karns, Teresa Dian Jones and husband, Denny of Clinton, Bryan Keith Roberts and wife, Shine of Oliver Springs, and Julie Ann Bridges and husband, Vance of Harriman; grandchildren, Isaiah Roberts, Elijah Roberts, Jeremiah Roberts, Derek Jones, Makenzie Jones, Ryan Roberts, Tiffany Roberts, Keith Roberts, Emily Bridges, and Courtney Bridges; brothers, Don Duncan and wife, Wanda of Oliver Springs, and George Duncan Jr. and wife, Pam of Corryton; sisters, Louise Jackson and husband, Pat of Oliver Springs, and Katie Bass and husband, Harvey of Oliver Springs; sister-in-law, Alene Duncan of Clinton; special friends, George Comer, Jo Ann Braden, Glenda Bowling Jones and Louise Adcock; precious neighbor and special friend, Mamie Thacker of Oliver Springs; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at Sharp Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Massengill and the Rev. Ronnie Inman officiating.Burial and graveside service will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.Sharp Funeral Home of Oliver Springs is in charge of all the arrangements.
