She graduated from All Saints High School in 1925 and attended All Saints Junior College. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Dakota in 1929. Norton Ave. died Saturday in Sioux Valley Hospital. Ruby Cone was born June 10, 1907, in Sioux Falls. She graduated from All Saints High School in 1925 and attended All Saints Junior College. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Dakota in 1929. She taught at Isabel, Canton and Rapid City, University of Minnesota at Morris, Nettleton Commercial College and the State Norman and Industrial College in Ellendale, N.D. She married Ernest Eitreim, June 2, 1939, in Ellendale and they moved to Garretson. She taught at Nettleton College, attended Augustana College, taught at Garretson High School and then was Minnehaha County Librarian. Her husband died in 1975 and she moved into Sioux Falls in 1983. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Garretson, Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls and a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. Survivors included a son: Stan, Sioux Falls; her stepmother: Virginia Cone, Sioux Falls; a brother: C. Ballard, Minneapolis; and a half-sister: Sara Cone, San Francisco. Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. today in the Zion Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery, Garretson. Minnehaha Funeral Home in Garretson is in charge of arrangements.
