Born July 1, 1934, in Joanna, SC, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Helen Francis (Thomas) Rushton. Retired after 51 years as a beautician, was a member of Beaumont Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, William H. Bill Painter; two daughters, Debra Dunagin and her husband Brian of Spartanburg and Tammy Pruitt and her husband Eddie of Pauline; two grandsons, Chad Dunagin and his wife Andrea and Jason Pruitt and his wife April; three granddaughters, Shanna Hopkins and her husband Billy, Tiffany Pruitt,... She was predeceased by a son, Reggie Bobo. Graveside services were held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2005, at Sunset Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. John Cox and Rev. Larry Buchanan.
