Description	:	BROKEN BOW - Ruby Elizabeth Campbell, 72, of Broken Bow, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 1991, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow with Rev. David Lux officiating. Burial will be at the New Helena Cemetery north of Merna. Ruby Campbell was born Jan. 31, 1919, at Gates, to William A. and Gladys L. (Brunnr) Ballenger. She attended school at Anselmo. On Sept. 11, 1934, she married Roy Campbell at Brewster. They resided in the Anselmo area for many years. They moved to Broken Bow, later moving to Coos Bay, Ore., where they lived for 13 years. They returned to Broken Bow to help care for her mother. She worked as a nurse's aide at Sandhills Manor until her retirement. Survivors include sons, William, Crescent, Ore., and Richard, Merritt Island, Fla., daughter, Sharon Kay Roth, Merritt Island, Fla., brother, Clarence Ballenger, Lowell, Ore., sister, Thelma Brakeman, Broken Bow, 13 grandchildren; nine step grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and 12 step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1989, her parents, a daughter and four brothers. (Kearney Hub, Kearney, NE, August 19, 1991)
