She became a member of the Manila Church of Christ, Dog Fork Road, Chapmanville, W.Va., on February 11, 1945, and was a member of the choir. She was the daughter of Willie and Edna Stollings of Hollywood Branch Road, Chapmanville, formerly Manila, W.Va. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Edna Evans of Lenore, W.Va. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Orphie Stollings of Hollywood Branch Road, Chapmanville and Raymond Stollings of Dog Fork Road, Chapmanville; three sisters, Myrtle Webb of Myrtle Webb Road, Chapmanville, Ida Barker of Barker Fork Road, Chapmanville and Ernie Queen of Baltimore, W.Va.; two sisters-in-law, Isabelle Stollings of Hollywood Branch Road, Chapmanville and Josephine Stollings of Hubert Hill Road, Chapmanville; two brothers-in-law, Glen Perdue of Dog Fork Road, Chapmanville and Robert Barker of Barker Fork Road, Chapmanville. Left behind to mourn her loss are husband of 62 years, Seymour Ellis of Craddock Fork Road, Chapmanville; one son, Larry and wife, Gloria Ellis of Turtle Creek Road, Danville, W.Va., and daughter, Michele Helton and companion, G. W. Mitchell and daughters, Peyton Helton and Sierra Mitchell of Alkol, W.Va.; son, Todd and his wife, Rose Ellis, and daughters, Victoria and Cari Ellis of Danville; four daughters, Mary Kathryn "Katty" and husband, Doug Jeffrey of Dog Fork Road, Chapmanville; Marlene and husband, Jerry Price Jr. and children, Cory and Amanda Price of Chapmanville; Misti and husband, Brett Phipps and children, Jonathan Pittman and Natalie Phipps of Champanville; Marsha Kay and husband, Kenneth Watts of Mill Creek Road, Chapmanville, son, Ken Roger Watts of Orlando, Fla., and children, Shelena Gingise and companion, Ralph Tanguma and son, Jessie Tanguma of Okochoboee, Fla.; daughter, Karen Smith of Orlando, Fla., and daughter, Brenda Smith of Chapmanville; so! n-in-law, Okie Evans of Laurel Fork, Lenore, W.Va., and son, Jason Evans and companion, Beverly Canterbury of Lenore, daughter, Barbara and husband, Warren Herald of Wells Road, Middleport, Ohio, and daughter, Amy Herald and fiance, Ronnie Simpson Jr. and daughter, Kayla Simpson of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; son, Frank Herald and companion, Crystal Turley and daughters, Kasey and Cierra Turley of Racine, Ohio; daughter, Jackie and husband, Keith Pauley of Craddock Fork Road, Lake, W.Va., and daughter, Nicole and Allen Beckett and children, Caitlyn and Jeremy Beckett of Taylorsville, N.C.; son, Derek and wife, Donna Pauley of Newton, N.C. She is also survived by brothers, Berthold Stollings of Chapmanville, Dennis and wife, Joy Stollings, of Harts, W.Va.; sister, Mary Perdue of Chapmanville; one sister-in-law, Oletta Stollings of Chapmanville; and one brother-in-law, Elbert Queen of Baltimore, Md.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was blessed by God-sent caregivers, in that they were very loving and caring in their attendance to her. We would like to thank all of the caregivers that contributed in any way towards her care. Ronnie Hainor was very faithful in his weekly visits with her and always sang her favorite songs to her. Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Handley Funeral Home with Minister Jim Owston officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens at Low Gap, Danville, W.Va. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Hainor and Mike Blankenship. Handley Funeral Home, Danville is in charge of the arrangements.
