Description	:	Ruby Garber Grove, 97, a resident of the Stuarts Draft Christian Home, died Monday, October 1, 2007, at the home. She was born January 16, 1910, at Knightly Mill, near New Hope, a daughter of the late John R. Garber and Mattie Norford Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, three brothers, and husband Paul Henry Grove, who died September 19, 1993. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survivors include a daughter, Anne G. Sullender and her husband, Bill, of Stuarts Draft; two sons, Charles Garber Grove and his wife, Becky, of Waynesboro, Nelson Lee Grove and his wife, Jackie, of Crimora; grandchildren, Michael Lee Grove, W. Scott Grove, W. Scott Grove, Barry W. Sullender, Sara Sullender Boxler, Christopher Samuel Grove, Kevin Charles Grove; step grandson, Michael Dale Ralston; six great-grandchildren and one step great-grandson. A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2007, at Mt. Vernon Church of the Brethren by the Reverend Garold W. Senger Jr. and the Reverend William H. Garber. Burial will be private for family and will take place at the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Dr. Dennis Hatter, staff of Stuarts Draft Christian Home and church family friends. The family will receive friends anytime at the daughter or son's residence. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Vernon Church of the Brethren, 90 Mt.
