Description	:	Ruby Irene Flanigan, 90, of Sikeston, went home to be with her Lord and Savior March 19, 2007, at the New Horizon Center. Born Jan. 15, 1917, at Marston, to the late George Robert and Cora Elizabeth Evans Russell, she lived most of her life in Sikeston where she was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist belief, and she was loved by many. Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Peggy Flanigan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Wayne Cook and Vina and Ben Swallows; 27 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Dennis and Terry Bucannon and... Flanigan, DeWayne Flanigan and Douglas Flanigan; and three daughters, Louise Scism, Hazel Green and Jane Ellen Parks. Visitation was held at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where funeral services were conducted. Her grandson, the Rev. Brian Flanigan, pastor of Victory Life Center in Oran, officiated. He was assisted by the Rev. John Givens, pastor of Potter's House Ministries in Sikeston. Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
