She was born in Mountain Peak, Texas, on April 17, 1924. While living in Fort Worth, Texas, she met William "Bill" Teeters and they were married in1944. After Bill's discharge from the service, they moved to Montana. In 1957, they bought the Worden Creamery and became residents of the Huntley Project, which remained their home until 2005, when they moved to Billings. As owner of the Double Tree Antique store in Worden, Ruby had a passion for antiques and collectibles and was highly respected for her knowledge of their value. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Bill in October 2007. Ruby is survived by six sisters and one brother. She will be deeply missed by her son, Glen (Donna) Teeters of Alberton; daughter Donna (Brian) Tilton of Pleasanton, Calif.; and grandchildren Amber (Tim) Sarrels of Seattle, Mark Teeters of Whitefish, and Kelly and Kimberly Tilton of Pleasanton; and her special nieces and nephews who have always been there for her. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Smith's Downtown Chapel, located at 925 S. 27th St Interment will follow at the Pleasantview Cemetery, at Ballantine, MT. Memorial donations can be sent to charity of choice.
