Description	:	Ruby Lee Outlaw Sanders, 89, of 3rd Avenue, South, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Sanders was born April 12, 1917 in Socastee, South Carolina, a daughter of the late John F. and Getha Jane Lewis Outlaw. She was the widow of H.B. ``Sparky'' Sanders Sr. who died in 1979. Mrs. Sanders was a member of First United Methodist Church in Conway. Ruby will be remembered for her strength and courage in living alone these past 28 years and for her love of family. Mrs. Sanders was born April 12, 1917 in Socastee, South Carolina, a daughter of the late John F. and Getha Jane Lewis Outlaw. She was the widow of H.B. ``Sparky'' Sanders Sr. who died in 1979. Mrs. Sanders was a member of First United Methodist Church in Conway. Ruby will be remembered for her strength and courage in living alone these past 28 years and for her love of family. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff of 2E at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for their loving care given to our Mom. Surviving are one son, H.B. ``Sparky'' Sanders Jr. and his wife, Marny, of Virginia Beach, Va.; one daughter, Jane S. Adams of Satellite Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, Teresa Keeney and Peter Spires Jr. of Florida and Brandon and Kevin Sanders of Virginia, six great-grandchildren; and two nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2007 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with the Rev. Mac Kinnett officiaiting. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday, prior to the services, at the funeral home. Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
