She was born March 8, 1919 on a farm in the Venus community to George and Delila (Simson) Woodworth. "She married Errol Hazen on Aug. 11, 1937, in Lincoln. The couple farmed near Venus and her husband operated a trucking business. In 1947, they moved to Sparta. Her husband died in 1958, and she continued living on the farm at Sparta. "She married Errol Hazen on Aug. 11, 1937, in Lincoln. The couple farmed near Venus and her husband operated a trucking business. In 1947, they moved to Sparta. Her husband died in 1958, and she continued living on the farm at Sparta. She married Don Darnell on Sept. 9, 1959, at North Bend. The couple farmed in the Sparta community for a year, then moved to Columbus. They painted new houses for building contractors until moving to Verdigre in 1951. The couple purchased a farm in the Sparta area, then returned to Verdigre several years later. She did bookkeeping for the John Deere dealership. In 1974, the couple moved to Eagle Grove, Iowa, and began a business manufacturing pole buildings until retiring in 1976. They moved to Orchard, and he died in 1977. She returned to Verdigre. On Jan. 22, 1978, she married Otto 'Curly' Dvorak. She became a resident of Alpine Village in Verdigre." She was survived by 1 son and his wife, 1 daughter, 1 sister, 1 brother, 1 daughter-in-law, 2 step-sons, 2 step-daughters, 18 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. "In addition to her first and second husbands, she was preceded in death by one son, one grandson, one daughter-in-law, one stepson, one step-granddaughter, seven brothers and two sisters."
