Description	:	Ruby was born in Merryville, LA on the 26th day of June, 1936, to Napoleon Nash and Alice Perkins Nash of Evans, LA. Ruby was of the Pentecostal faith and member of Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church and was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. She loved to go to flea markets, farmers markets, fishing, gardening and her animals; she also enjoyed quilting and sewing. Ruby raised foster children and loved being involved with the activities in her church. She was always willing to help someone in need. Ruby especially loved her children and grandchildren; she will be missed by all. Ruby is survived by son and wife of Anacoco, LA; four daughters and sons-in-law; sister of Kirbyville, TX.; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Services were Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church in Burr Ferry, LA., Bro. James Herrington and Bro. Eddie Tilley officiated. Burial followed in Burr Ferry Cemetery in Burr Ferry, LA. Srvices were under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville, LA.
